Delete your Vello account
This page explains how to permanently delete your account and all associated data
in Vello, the personal finance app published by the Vello team
(developer of the Vello app on Google Play and the App Store).
How to delete your account
- Open the Vello app and sign in.
- Go to the More tab and open Settings.
- Tap Delete account.
- Confirm the deletion. Your account and data are deleted immediately.
Can't access the app? Email us at support@vellotheapp.com
from the email address on your account and we will delete the account for you.
What gets deleted
- Your account profile (name, email, sign-in credentials, and linked social logins)
- All financial data: transactions, accounts and cards, budgets, savings goals, and imports
- Bank notification messages and anything derived from them
- AI assistant history, insights, and notification/device tokens
What is kept, and for how long
- Deletion is immediate and permanent; we do not keep your personal or financial data after deletion.
- Anonymous, aggregated statistics that cannot identify you may be retained.
- Encrypted backups age out automatically within 30 days.
- Purchase records for subscriptions remain with Apple/Google per their policies.
